Who Requires Inspections?
If your property includes private stormwater treatment systems, you're responsible for ensuring proper maintenance and compliance with Spokane's stormwater regulations.
The following criteria determine if a property is applicable:
The stormwater facility receives runoff from private property.
The private property was developed or redeveloped in 2011 or later.
The development was ≥ 1 acre, or part of a larger development plan.
Inspection Timeline
Inspections should typically occur between March and October.
Once completed, the certifying professional must fill out the Private Stormwater Facility Annual Certification form, which must be submitted within 90 days of the inspection date.
